editing contacts question

Hi,
I know that you can you at your contacts while on the phone but can you edit one while on a call, say you need to the e-mail address of the person you are talking to or something like that.

Yes, sir. There's a contacts button on the phone call screen.

i know but from using it all i have been able to do is view the contacts not edit them

i just started opening the notes and typing in there if there is something important somebody is telling me, you can do that
