Editing HTML in Pages

I bought iWork '08 today only to find out you can no longer open/save HTML files using Pages. Interesting that they would remove that feature. I know it's strange to a real web developer, but I generally write raw html code by hand and this would have fit the bill for me.

Is anyone aware of any workarounds for this?
