Education customers screwed on iPad 3G also
I called yesterday (April 30) because my pre-order from early April still said "Not Yet Shipped" and was assured that it was "scheduled to ship today." This morning, I got an email telling me that the iPad won't ship until May 17 and that the case won't ship until mid-June.
It's one thing to have the education customers be the last priority, but they could at least be up front about it. I'm much more likely to buy items retail and get reimbursed from now on, rather than wait at the back of the line and be lied to.
