Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help. I had been waiting (like 99%) of the forum for a new iMac to be announced and had been planning to pick this up when announced. As it doesn't look like we will be seeing one until at least next year, I am thinking about picking up a 5K late 2015 model to replace my ageing machine.

I'm currently working as a teacher and qualify for a discount, this should help nullify some of the recent price increase, however, the only option I can see is for the i5. To try and increase the longevity of my purchase I'd like to grab the i7 4.0GHZ (I normally go for the top of the range to help). Ideally I'd like to add 1TB flash storage and M395X 4GB. I can increase the RAM later down the road as I have done previously.

Main use for the machine is Logic Pro, my own use as well as assessing students work etc. Plan would be to add another external display later also.

Thank you for any help in advance.

Can I order that online or do I need to call up/ visit a store?
I'm based in the U.K. I guess that's the same spec though. Thank you

I think you need to fill in academic credentials through some UK system to reach the Apple Store for Education in the UK.

But you can for sure order it online. Look at the bottom of the page "Shop for your University" "Apple for Education" to get to the pricelist.
