Hold down the T key at start up, Hold down the N key at start up? Command + S at start up and all those Open Firmware commands we know and love..what's the deal now? How do you boot into Single User Mode on the new Intel Core Duo Macs? Target Disk Mode? I don't think this was dicussed at the keynote, was it?

This item on the Apple Developer Connection site pretty much says that booting from FireWire (or USB!) harddrives is supported.

- "Zapping PRAM" is still something you can do as part of troubleshooting (page 81).
- You can still hold down the mouse button while rebooting to eject disks (page 85).
- You hold down "D" while restarting to boot from a CD (page 87).
What did/does holding down "N" at startup do?
Yeah pretty much everything is still there but their are added bells and whistles. You can boot directly to the AHT now instead of having to chose the drive you mount off of, and you can boot right into the network utility.

Ah, you might be correct. Though I guess that would count on people not thinking of the hard drive as a disk.

Ctrl-Alt-Delete? yuck!! Don't need that on my Mac! I deal with that almost everyday at work and school on Windows machines. Besides I like Command-Alt-Escape much better as it requires only one hand to do in a much more ergonomic L shape form of the left hand.
