Hi all,

I installed yesterday a new samsung ssd x5 (i want to use it for the install files of the gaming).

I noted that in windows the external ssd is very slowly. 400 mb/s writing 1900 mb/s reading.

In mac os I have about 2000 mb/s in writing and 2600 mb/s in reading.

The driver is connected to thunderbold 3 port. Can anyone help me ?

Thank you

Hi, can you test the drive on a different system and let us know if it is the drive or the system it is connected to?

Unfortunately not , I don't have another pc with TB3 and I don't have any friends with this configuration :(.. Today I noted that if I start windows and then put windows in standby, when I resume windows from standby the ssd work at correctly speed. DO you think that this can be an issue of windows , bootcamp or ssd ?

Thank you.
