EGPU Help - Unable to edit kext file

So I upgraded the OS on my rMBP to OS X El Capitan 10.11.1. However, I'm not able to setup my eGPU on it as I had it working under Mavericks.

I get below error when saving the kext files after modifying them.

I downloaded the correct web drivers for nvidia and installed them successfully.

Any ideas on why I'm receiving this error and how I can allow my mac to modify these files?
