Does anyone have any experience or has set up an second Eizo ColorEdge CE240W monitor (DVI-I connection) to a full spec 27" i7 2017 iMac with the correct adaptor?
My current set up is an early 2009 MacPro running two CE240W and 8 external hard droves off two eSata cables. Mainly retouching photography but also editing FCPX up to 4K footage.
It is time to move on and I do not want to buy the current Mac Pro, I cannot wait for the new iMacPro for work reasons, so I am currently favouring the full spec 5k iMac.
I can buy a new Thunderbolt enclosure for the external drive but I still would/have to run a second monitor - ideally one of my CE230W's off a new 5k iMac.
Any advice is much appreciated.
