El Cap on MacMini (Mid2011)

hey guys,
I upgraded my MacMini and I cannot reboot after the install. The progress bar won't start. I re-installed and left it on since then to see what is happening. But some things just work weird. For example my Logitech Keyboard does not seem to work properly. Looks like Apple is pretty quiet about all those install bugs. Any idea what I need to do?

I was able to install 10.11 on my Mid 2011 Mac Mini, but the 10.11.1 update messed things up pretty badly, to the point where I couldn't boot, couldn't restore from Time Machine, or even boot into safe mode. I'd made a copy of my boot drive before the El Capitan install, so I've now restored from that and will be sticking with Yosemite on my Mac Mini for the time being.

I'm running 10.11.1 on my Mid2011 Mini. It has 8GB of memory if that makes any difference. The installation process was very smooth in my case.

Also of note, I have almost nothing on my Mini as it is primarily a iTunes media server and all my media is actually on a RAID via Thunderbolt.

I have a Mac mini (Mid 2011) with 16GB of memory and the installation went great.

My mini is a mid 2011 i7 with Radeon graphics, 16 GB and DIY fusion drive.

First install suffered of the same issues. I tried again, during installation I opened the logs and errors and there were many issues with language files. It stopped for more than 30' on the last second of installation. It did the reboot but stopped while booting.

The third time it just happened with no problems. It seems random to me, apparently in some cases for the mini 2011 the system does not load the correct third party kext files.

I suggest you to format the disc and try once again with the log window open.

The fact that it happens randomly fits indeed with the explanation that it may have to do with the installed RAM...

The beautiful thing is that now the system graphics is used much better than with Yosemite!

The system is very snappy and enjoyable as compared to Yosemite.
