El Capitan and AOL mail

Am I the only person here who can't work with AOL account in OS X El Capitan? When I try to log in, I constantly receive an "error message". And my password is OK, I have an access to the web version of AOL mail. Only El Capitan doesn't want to work with AOL.

Try this:

Delete the AOL account and then add it back in. Yeah, from your screenshot, I've had similar problems with other accounts.

Another thing that works is actually going into Mail preferences and typing the password there, it worked for me.

My AOL mail box is large - each time I delete the AOL account it has to rebuild it - which can take days on my slow 2 Mbps connection.....

My account verification has just failed for the THIRD time now - for no apparent reason - its working fine on all my other devices. IS there any way around having to delete the AOL account and starting all over again?? I know my sign in and password are correct - but I keep getting the "cannot verify" message! Argghhhhhhhhhhhh
