El Capitan and iCloud/itunes

Installed el capitan just fine...but am now unable to sign into iCloud/itunes. I just get the dreaded spinning wheel and finally have to force quit whatever I'm in...I can't even cancel it. I deleted the iCloud account from my mac and rebooted, then tried to sign up again...no luck.

2010 21" iMac
8 g RAM

I have the same problem, could not fix it. Any suggestions.

After trying lots of things, including a clean install of El Capitan, I have gone back to Yosemite via time machine and will wait until there's a fix.
