El Capitan and MacBookAir 2012

Based on this thread it looks like El Capitan is a downer. Has anyone had good experiences with El Capitan, specifically with upgrading a MacBookAir 2012 from Yosemite?

I'm running El Capitan 10.11.1 on my 2012 MacBook Air (i5, 4GB, 256GB). I would say it runs better than Yosemite.

Running fine on my 2012 4GB RAM, 480GB Transcend SSD 11" MBA. 10.11.1 runs GREAT IMO.
