El Capitan as a server os?

I have El Capitan on my MacBook and still Yosemite on my Mac Mini server but that will change tomorrow. I read the release notes of the last OS X Server update and according to the release notes it already included adjustments for El Capitan. Yosemite with Server runs pretty well and I think it will be the same with El Capitan. I can tell you more tomorrow night (CET), if all went well. 
Not to hijack the thread, but is there any real advantage to upgrading to 10.11 when Server 5 will run on 10.10?

Honestly I would wait.
Indeed the new server app does bring in interesting features.
I would test it out in a test environment first.
We have seen the latest releases (especially in iOS) to be buggy.
I would wait. I updated the server app, then updated all my computers to El Capitan (using caching on Server, actually), then updated the server to El Capitan. It's been three days and several hours and still nothing on my network can see my server. I'm probably going to roll back to Yosemite at this point.
I have been running ElCap on my Mac Mini Server with server app throughout beta and haven't noticed any big issues. It seems to work pretty well.

I've been running Server on 10.11 for a while now on a 2008 MacPro with about 20TB of disk. It's a DNS/DHCP, iTunes, Mail, Web, Xcode, Wiki, TimeMachine, VPN server that also runs VMWare fusion for running a Firewall (Untangle) VM, Minecraft Server VM, oh and a PuppetLabs CentOS VM.

Did you upgrade from 10.10? Very interested in pulling that trigger...
I know it's best practice to wait a while. But the new features in Profile Manager for managing iOS 9 are sorely needed. I know most schools go with FileWave or something but we don't have that kind of $$$.
And any good reasons to update to El Capitan from Maverick, I mean server Wise ? Would I gain anything for email or dns/dhcp ? I do not have any needs to control iOS devices. Can I still control pf using a standard file, I read somewhere that El Capitan takes control of the firewall.
We have a El Capitan Server. I have copied data from old 10.6 server and we have file permission problem. If someone creates a folder on the new server next personal does not get read/write permission nor can the creator change the permissions. It has to be done on the server itself, which is weird. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this problem.
