Hello folks I have a question. I'm still using OS Yosemite and my Question is if I upgrade to El Capitan on my Mid 2015 Retina iMac does the Bootcamp support change? Basically my Mid 2015 Retina iMac still supports Windows 7 through Bootcamp however I just found out that the newly refreshed Retina iMac's no longer support Win7 through Bootcamp so if I am to upgrade to El Capitan does that mean I will then have a Bootcamp that no longer supports Win7 or will my machine still support Win7 through Bootcamp if I upgrade to El Capitan?

Is not cloning your system drive to an external one and trying any change on it, a sure way to discover any problem in advance without taking risks in your present system?

As to the BootCamp drive, using Winclone is the way to have a secure back up of it.
