So I know that there is a tool that exists called MacPostFactor that patches kexts for El Captain to allow it to be booted on older machines. However every time I try to use it to make a boot drive for my 2006 iMac, it creates a "clean install" and won't allow another option. My thoughts are that it's only putting the patches on the drive and not actually making a bootable drive.

Does anyone know how to get it to work? I was running Mavericks successfully on the machine so I know that's not the issue...
