el captain beta (notes) not syncing with iOS notes app? (iCloud)

i have the beta version of el captain and have set up the same iCloud address (notes) with the same iCloud address (notes) on my iOS devices i.e. iPad and iPhone

however the notes are not syncing....

can anyone advise? I've tried resetting / logging out and back in

but it doesn't seem to sync?

Did you sign up for the new notes. Notes in iCloud is only available for iOS 9 and El Cap.

ah probably im unsure...crap thats probably why it doesnt sync from ios 8.3 to the EL CAP

I had to download ios9 beta iPhone 6 for macbook notes to re sync (El Capitan) and log out and into iCloud.
