Is EA going to release Need For Speed Undercover for iPhone/iPod touch anytime soon? They said November then December then early January then early March. Now it early April. Was this all a joke to make us all excited or somthing? When Phil demoed this in September he said later this year. All I want to say is SCREW ELECTRONIC ARTS. Will it be shipping in years or days or months.

On Toucharcade, the current speculation ranges from June 2009 (based, AFAICS, on nothing, beyond the vague speculation that they'd try to make it a firmware 3.0 launch title) to September 2009 (apparently based on an EA twitter feed -- I don't follow EA on Twitter, and the search is too cumbersome to go back and find the actual tweet) to never (based on the fact that it increasingly looks like vapourware).

Also please post questions about games and other App Store apps for iPod touch / iPhone in the App Store forum and not the iPod touch or iPhone forums.

No problem... I think basically at this point, though, most of the iPhone gamers have stopped holding their breath for NFS.... If you look on TouchArcade, there are a couple of newer racers that people seem to really like, as well as some excellent older ones like Ferrari GT. There's a pretty good range now from more simulation type games with high accuracy to more drift / arcade games.

Who knows if NFS will actually see the light of day, and if it will live up.

There's been some speculation that EA is holding out for the rumored premium $20 App Store. Of course, speculating on rumors...not the most reliable source of information :)

Well then Screw EA! If the App is all set, they should just sell it for $10 or $20. They are liars. They've set the release date 5 times now and failed each and everyone. Maybe Travis Boatman can stop showing off the Sims for the iPhone and finish or release NFS Undercover.
