Just wondering aloud: since seeing how much of a difference thermal pads can make on the M4 Airs, I'm wondering if there's any way to similarly cool the iPad Pro. It's just to have better sustained performance in graphically very intensive games like Genshin where it throttles after very graphically demanding use for 30+ mins.

I'd assume there's no way to do this since unlike the MacBook Air, there's no way to apply the thermal pads/paste to the bottom to sink heat through the chassis, being that after you open it up you can't get below the chip like you would on an Air. Applying paste on top of the chip and then having that heat go through the screen would probably be a very bad idea, of course.

The cooling cases I've seen are bulky and massive, hardly a neat solution. There are small gaming fans, but they're wired as well. Running AC whenever at home is something I do anyway, but that isn't able to counteract the sheer stress put onto the chip through heavy gaming.

Best you can do is reduce the ambient temperature around you or reduce the quality of the game you’re playing.
