Hey everyone, recently bought an Elgato Eyetv Hybrid for my brand new Imac. Plugged it in and all that jazz and what do you know I got TV on my mac! However the real reason I got the thing was to play my game systems on it (super nintendo, nintendo 64) and guess what?! They don't work! 
When I plug my super nes into the elgato and go to AV I see...nothing!!! other than a blue screen that states "No Signal". But, I can hear the game. Timeshift is turned off however if I turn it on I can see and hear it fine but as you may know with timeshift on it lags so much it is unplayable. Then when I plug my 64 I get nothing. no sound. no picture. nothing. (it doesnt matter if timeshift is on or not) Both systems work fine with a TV and I've replaced their cords 3 times. Same crap. Speaking of crap...this is how I see this product unless I can find a solution. And don't bother callin elgato up they don't have a number to call. And if you email them like me they will gladly give you the cold shoulder! (8 days and counting for me) If someone has the solution please post and if you are considering getting an eyetv, just take $170 and flush it down the crapper. Its alot less stressful.
