emac clean reinstall issues!

im trying to boot from the disk and it goes to the OS. I'm trying to reinstall os x 10.3 from 10.4. Perhaps I have to download it from the os c 10.4 disk? I'm trying to boot up from the original disk one.


EDIT:

Ok, I was using the wrong software disk and not the actual oS X disk. Mods, you can delete this or keep it incase others are doing the same thing.

Sorry, one more thing, is it normal for the screen to go blank when installing disk # 2?
 
I have another issue. Everything is working find but when I tried to continue the installation through the second disk, it freezes up. Any one knows what's that about?
