When I try to verify my @me.com address for my iCloud me.com apple Id, it says it can't verify because It's already verified for another apple id. But that's not true. Anyone having this issue or know what to do?

Does this happen only when trying to verify a NEW me.com account or does it also happen when you try to migrate from mobile me to iCloud?
My iTunes account is a non-existent email as the name ID with a "primary" email contact that's verified as my me. com address.
But I already sync my contacts, mail, etc with my me.com email.
Did anyone's email eventually release without contacting support?
