Email app alternatives?

hi guys,

given the 'huge response' biteSMS, Swirly and the likes have received from us jailbreakers, and the fact that many of us iPhone users view email as both an integral part of our lives and iPhones it surprises me that there are no email apps in Cydia/Rock...

Integration to gmail etc is great and that gives us a few additional things like personalized folders etc but for us POP3:ers with personal servers/domains the standard email client is as feature ridden as my first client on a VAX VMS system back in 1991 I'm specifically looking for built in search, sorting, filters, view headers etc. Am I SOL on this one or are there in fact gray cells fast at work on this already?
