I am using Apple mail on a MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion. Before upgrading to Mt Lion, when I attached a file to an outgoing email, it showed up as just the filename (which would be clicked on to open). Now, it always puts the whole document into the body of the email, which is distracting and cumbersome. I can take the extra steps of right clicking on that document and choosing View as Icon to change it, but I don't want to have to keep doing this. I looked at Preferences and cannot find a setting that changes this default.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
