Is there a way I can open attached documents from email messages so I can view/edit them in Pages? It is kind of useless to receive email attachments but not even be able to see them.

When you tap on the file to preview it in the upper right of the preview screen there is an. Open in button. It is pretty quick when you do it so if you miss it tap the preview to bring up the bar at the top then tap the open in button. You may get a couple of choices depending on what apps you have.
I feel so stupid! Thanks, works like a charm. I never even scrolled down to see the attachment at the bottom of the message. I was just going for the paperclip.
