I just swicthed to a lower data plan. In order to save data, I have begun using my office's public guest wifi network while at my desk. I've noticed that I can't send or receive any emails using the stock iOS mail app. I'm using Yahoo, gmail, and an iCloud account. Nothing comes in or goes out, until I turn off wifi and jump on LTE for a few minutes. It's a big PITA.
I can verify that I can send and receive emails as normal when I'm at home on my own wifi network.
I've tried deleting and re-setting up my Yahoo email account (what a pain) and it didn't work. I've also noticed that my mail settings are set for oauth 2.0 authentication, rather than password. I can't change anything on that screen as it's all greyed out.
Note that I am using the Outlook app to receive my work email via the app. I do have my iOS calendar set to sync with my Outlook calendar. My company uses Office 365, so it's not an Exchange server ... I think.
Any clues and hints would be highly appreciated.
