I used to use a nice app called iMailG for my Gmail account until it went off the rails because of security issues. They provided the ability to select one of several different lockscreen notification messages, from "You have an email" to the name of the sender and the first few lines of the email. I now use Cloud Magic but they don't allow this option. In business settings sometimes it's nice to not have your notification screen show who you've received an email from. Is anyone aware of another mail cient that allows this kind of option?

Spent a day looking at apps and found one that meets my needs; MyMail has both PIN protection and allows you to set parameters for lock screen notifications. Seems like a nice app.

If you haven't already and if it concerns you, you might want to check if that is one of those apps that is checking/storing your email and login info on their servers...which I think it is.
