It may be hard to explain but here goes. I have my email address as aol on the iPad, and I also added an email address for my wife with a separate aol email address. When I sent an email from my aol address to my wife's email address it doesn't show up in mail. Only mail for me at my email address shows up in mail. Is it because the iPad is only registered in my name only? In other words is it possible to have both accounts able to receive email under each individual address? If possible how do I do it?
Thanks for a reply

I have six e-mail addresses setup on mine. You may need to set her's under a standard POP account.

Thanks for the reply, but both hers and mine is set up as iMap on the AOL web interface. I would think that should both work the same, no?

It's most likely that there is something wrong with the setup for your wife's e-mail account. Plain and simple. Wrong account name, wrong password, etc.

You need to give us more information.

Does your wife's account function at all on the iPad? Is she able to read her mail on the iPad, but just not mail from you? Does the mail from you show-up on her web interface? Where are you sending the mail from? Web, a computer client, the iPad? Do you know how to switch between mail accounts in the iPad Mail app?

jtara, you have the gist of my problem. I do have two accounts set up for both of us with two different email addresses on AOL. But when I click on mail the inbox just shows my email account with my emails in it. I don't really know how to switch accounts on the iPad. On my iMac it shows the two different accounts and I can get my email and she can get hers, no problem there. I don't know where to look for her account on the iPad even though I had set up an account for her. How do I switch accounts on the iPad for her to see her email? I have to use the stand alone AOL email because my internet provider Sprint mobile broadband (no DSL or Cable) in my area, doesn't have an email program.
thanks for a reply

Please post her email address, password and a picture (only if she is a hottie). We will get her email fixed.

Ha! This confused me at first as well!

The default view when you enter the Mail app for the first time is of your primary inbox. (After the first time, it remembers where you were last.)

Look in the upper left-hand corner of the inbox dialog. You should see a button with an arrow pointing left that says "Accounts". Hit that button.

You will be presented with a list of accounts. Pick your wife's account, and it will go to her inbox.
