Where I am
To confirm, when sending email from an iPhone (or iPad), in particular iPhone 11 Pro Max, there is no option to choose a different from address, right?

Example, I have a few email addresses, in particular some for job hunting.
So, when recruiters and the like send me emails, I would like to reply, BUT, use a particular from address.

Thanks for suggestions.

You have to tap in the Cc/Bcc From: field, which will separate the fields. Then tap in From: and you'll get a list of your email addresses. I'd prefer that the From field be separate from Cc/Bcc always because it's unintuitive as it is now.

And, to confirm, this is done FROM an iPhone?
I just checked, and after clicking into CC/BCC, there was no From field. Unless I am doing it wrong.

Thanks

Yes, works the same way on iPhone or iPad.

Finally getting round to doing this, and I do not see an option to add an alias.
I will Google steps, etcetera. Thanks

I assume there'll be no From if you haven't actually defined any email aliases. They're defined in Settings / Mail / Accounts / <email account> / Account / Email. Phew!

It needs to be set up on a Mac. Here's an Apple Support article.

Actually, here's a better how-to from MacRumors!

Ah, well, that's a fail for me; no iMac here (anymore; sold it earlier this year)...

Hmm, with the delay of seeing new emails in the default Mail app on iOS, I might also consider switching to GMail, too.
