I just got an email from Apple's Australia store. I didn't notice it at first. It was an ad for iPods. Then I looked at the prices. iPods starting at $449. What?!?! So I clicked on the link and it took me to the Australia store. This is kind of weird.

I get ads from the Australian store (that's fine, I'm an Aussie in Australia) but also the Canadian store (I bought my shuffle online in Canada) and the US store (not sure why, I think I didn't uncheck the box when I downloaded iTunes for a mate one time).

I'll bet the "sudden price hike" shocked you a bit eh?

Stupid question, but do you realise that would be AUD? Not USD?

Cheers

Yes, I do, but when I opened the email all I saw was "iPods starting at $449" I didn't realize then that it was from the Australian store.
