For Email and web hosting I am using the services of one dot com. I have trouble setting up my email on my "Warren Buffet" iPhone.
I think it has something to do with port numbers. One uses
imap.one.com
IMAP (SSL): 933
send.one.com
SMTP (SSL): 465
465 for SMTP seems not working even though it is mentioned on their website what the exact port numbers are.
If I set up the email account, I do autmatically get the port number 587 from one.com. After changing the
port to 465 ...
iPhone says Verifying ... ... ... for hours and hours.
I need to switch to LTE instead of WLAN to force iOS to complete the email verification port number task.
Any iDeas anyone? I mean is it 587 or 465 in SSL encryption? Any security PROfessionals out there?
