I just sent some feedback to Apple.. feedback that I'm hoping will send them an important message. The text of my feedback was as follows, feel free to send them the same message:

One of the reasons I enjoy Apple products is due to their reliability. I use my iPhone mainly for communications. If I cannot count on your products to be reliable then there is little point in buying your products. How many sales are you willing to lose due to an email issue? Please fix the email problems in iOS and iPadOS.

I use Gmail, iCloud Mail, and my personal business Exchange account with the Mail app on my iPhone, and it works fine. For whatever reason, the problems with Mail don't seem to be universal. It's probably hard to fix in that case...

My experience has been the same as yours, on both XR and iPP 11.

I feel for those who are having issues, but it is clearly not a universal problem.

The point of this thread is not to hear “all fine here “, the point of this thread is to get others to send the same feedback to Apple to let Apple know these email issues will eventually affect Apple’s revenue.

Just know that this communication will most likely have zero effect.

Very very few people here will even read this post, even fewer will action on it. Net result - zero effect on Apple.

Just being honest is all. Your desire for change is admirable, but trying to get some users on MR to take cohesive action will be just as successful as trying to corral 37 highly strung cats into a kennel full of ravenous dogs....

Thank you Tigger, your honesty is appreciated. However, I can't really leave something until I know I've done my best, and that includes sending feedback to the best place where it can have some affect. If I haven't done that, then I really don't have any right to complain.

BTW, love your avatar! I grew up with Winnie and friends.

It’s a complete waste of time, I have submitted so much feed back and spent countless hours on the phone. I have completely given up on Apple and I am not wasting another minute of my time or another dollar on this company.

This is no different than returning a broken dishwasher in for repairs back to the manufacturer that build it and tells you they have absolutely no idea what’s wrong with it and sends it back to you. This is essentially what Apple does to us with every update that they don’t fix this.

For those of you who just want to give up on Apple.. I wonder how many people in your lives wanted to give up on you when you weren't at your best. If the shoe fits.. kick it off.

For those who are committed to doing the best you can in everything, continue to send feedback to Apple.. the squeaky wheel gets the grease ;)
