Email landscape videos

But can you only then watch them in portrait within email???

I've noticed this, too. Whether it be a video I've taken with the 3GS or other video I've encoded for the phone, when you receive it an email, you can only watch it in portrait mode. Turning it sideways doesn't rotate it for landscape mode.

What gives?
