I know we can select multiple messages using the "Edit" button and then mark them as read. I recently found the right incantations to get my company email account onto my iPad. The issue is that I ended up with a badge showing 517 new messages. This made it hard to tell when I really had new mail. I ended up marking read them manually, 127 at a time, but I can't help thinking "the has to be a better way". Is there a "select all" or "mark all as read" feature that I'm missing.
This will be an issue again because I only have my inbox from work and I want to tinker with it to see if I can get my sent items and other folders to show up (it is "Squirrel Mail" based, if that helps).
FWIW, just having my work mail on my iPad mail is a relief. Our web mail portal uses a captcha on the log in screen and it was a humongous pain to enter every time I want to check email on my iPad.
