Email not working

So for some reason I keep getting the error message: the imap server apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com is not responding. Check you network connection and that you entered the correct information in the "incoming mail server" field. It's also giving me the same error with my university account.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does anybody know how to fix it?

Well I know I'm not the only one. Just talked a buddy of mine on campus and he's having the same problem

My iCloud .me account won't receive mail on either my iPhone or mac.

I can receive email in .me account but I cannot send from .me. I keep getting wrong password error.

Mine won't seem to update. When I open the Mail app the wheel at the top keeps spinning and the Updated time at the bottom never becomes the current time.

Good to know I'm not the only one. For now I'm being patient with Apple and trying to understand that a bizillion people just downloaded a new OS....for now. I trust that they will get it worked out.
