iPhone X Email Notifcations

Not sure if this is an iPhone or iOS issue to just stuck it here for now

I’ve noticed the last few days I’m getting zero email notifcations, nothing on screen and no sound either when I get an email, yet I can suddenly look and have 4 emails displaying over the icon

I’ve turned notifications off and back on, outlook off and back on etc

Anyone got any other recommendations or ideas what the problem could be

Have you rebooted your phone?

Make sure you have the volume up and do not disturb turned off.

Check in your sounds and Haptic setting and make sure you have a sound set. I had the same issue with text messages I wouldn't get any notifications unless I actually looked in the message app. I wouldn't even get them on my apple watch. I did a reset all settings then I made sure that the watch was mirroring my phone and checked the that I had a sound set and the vibration on both watch and phone then rebooted both then it worked.

Upgrade to 12.1.2 if you haven’t. 12.1.1 broke my notifications exactly as you described.
