I've noticed that some email notifications are missing since going to IOS9. I get the 'bing' of email, and nothing on the lock screen or if in an app, no banner message.

Doesn't always do it, maybe 20% of emails don't show in lock screen or banner. The app always has the right number on the badge, so the phone knows they are there.

Anyone else found this?

have you checked the notification settings for Mail? The default is not to show banners (just sounds and badges)

Ahh thanks, only one account had been changed (live mail), the others still had banners enabled. That explains the random appearance.

Why change the setting on the phone after I've gone in and set it how I like?
