I do not have the email widget active yet I am getting email notifications appearing with preview in notification centre. I tried adding/removing the widget and have now have turned email notifications off and back on. It's still happening. Anyone have any ideas? No issues with iPad Air2 though.
[doublepost=1473841326][/doublepost]ok, solved it! It seems that 'preview' was turned on for all email accounts! I wonder what other settings have been returned to 'default' that haven't noticed yet!

Not solved! Been rather busy so only just got around to posting again.

I did a restore but the problem persists. When emails come in the notification banner shows no preview but despite the widget for email being turned off I still get emails in notification centre and with previews. Surely this isn't correct or do I misunderstand how this should work?

I've had this same problem going on. Preview turned off but in Notification Center the entire email shows in the notification. I have a call scheduled with Apple Support today to see if they can figure it out. I also did a full restore and it didn't solve it.
