Email on new Mac

I just got my first Mac and need to set up an email. I have an existing AOL account on my Dell but don't know how to set it up on my iBook. I used my AOL screen name to set up iChat, but w/ mail my choices just say .Mac account, and 3 others which I dont understand?! Can I please have some help

Here (http://members.aol.com/adamkb/aol/mailfaq/imap/) is a pretty good guide to how to set up your computer to work with AOL's mail system, it assumes a working knowledge of how to set up email clients. It's a pretty straightforward process.

thats a great program.......imports all your contacts, bookmarks, etc....sets up youyr aol address to use with mail, and ichat......enjoy!

OK.. I got iChat working now but idk about Mail.. its Ok, ill wait and post back if I have problems. Now for another question: does the 30-day trial of iWork and MS Office start when you first turn on your Mac or when you first use the App?
