I finally made the switch to Apple after many years of PC usage. Last week I bought a 24" imac and today (after falling in love with the imac) I bought a macbook air. My question is, I just signed up for mobile me, and would like to know if I sync my email with embarqmail via mobile me, will all my messages sync? I don't want to switch my email address to me.com since everyone has my embarqmail.com one. I tried a search and could not find the answer. Thanks in advance.

Simply set-up your embarqmail account to forward all mail to your me.com account. There is no reason you have to let anyone know the actual me.com email addy.

Ok, but if I do that, my sent email will still only be in one sent box? For instance if I send an email from my Macbook Air it wont end up on my imac.

MobileMe is IMAP, so you would have a common sent box across all of your computers.

Ok, so if I forward my email from my embarqmail.com email address to me.com. I will be able to see all my new mail and sent mail on my air or imac no matter which computer I am at?

Yes, if you use IMAP access.

Everything that you have your Mobile Me account will show up on each computer.

And, if you are out and about without either computer, you can always access Mobile Me via a web browser of choice -- even from a PC.
