When I access my gmail using my iPhone, an email seems to be stuck in memory or something...as it won't delete. If I access gmail through a computer the email is not there, but it is on my iPhone. Most annoying (beyond the fact I can't delete it) is that it is always marked as 'new' so I always have a 1 indicator on my mail icon.

Can anybody help me clear this up?

Thank you.

Be prepared for this to not actually fix the problem. It did not fix it for me. When I called Apple iPhone Support, they acted like they never heard about this problem. Same with one person I talked to at my Apple Store (but in all fairness, she was an idiot). :D

I still don't know a fix that actually works for this, just rumors that it will be taken care of with the next firmware update. Of course, if Apple is officially saying in their service center that they've never heard about this issue, how can they "fix" it with a firmware upgrade?

A little bit frustrating.
