Emailing a link from within safari? Possible?

I can't figure this out. Was it an oversight? I email links to web articles all the time and I hope that this is possible beyond just copy and pasting the article to a web browser.

Just hit the '+' symbol next to the URL field and choose 'mail link to this page'
