Emails not threaded together?

https://imgur.com/a/kAixeGD As you can see, 4 emails all from the same address, On Gmail these are all combined into 1 thread with newest at top which saves cluttering up your inbox. Now as you can see here https://imgur.com/a/EdDusMd threading etc is turned on.

Email "threads" or "conversations" are supposed to combine all back and forth correspondence on a singular subject. Is that the case here?

No. All is separate.

You're saying they're not organized by thread even though you have "Organize by Thread" turned on in Settings > Mail? Or did you turn it on afterward? If you just turned it on, try quitting Mail and relaunching. If it was already on, try turning it off, then back on.
