Embedded Apple @ Best Buy Store may be closer than you think...

I apologize in advance if I should have just added this to one of the Best Buy related threads.

This may not pertain to everyone, but it appears that the Apple Shop @ Best Buy page is not up to date.

According to the Best Buy website only the locations with the * have Apple Kiosk/Shops and so far it has been assumed that only these stores will carry the iPad. According to the site there was only one store even remotely close to my location and even that was still over an hour away.

Today I discovered a nearby (25 min.) Best Buy does indeed have an Apple Shop/Kiosk and will be selling the iPad on Saturday. I don't know if anyone is in a similar boat as I (closest Apple store and Apple/Best Buy store about an hour away), and if so you may want to take a look at other near by stores since Best Buy's site may not be correct (at least it wasn't in my case).

I have an online order on the way, so I'm not going there to pick up an iPad, but the Wife and I were talking about going to the adjacent shopping center that afternoon (after my iPad arrives :D), so I may swing by and try to score an accessory or two.

It doesn't have to have an asterisk. The asterisk only tells you that on top of having the "Apple store-within-store", that Best Buy ALSO has an Apple Consultant working there.

Well, that's embarrassing. I completely mis-understood the page. Thanks for clarifying it for me.
