Embedding an RSS blog feed on a website page?

I hope I can explain this correctly. I currently have a window on the frontpage of my website that I update occassionally with random stuff. The window has a scroll bar so the user can go back through older postings.

I recently started a blog. Is there any way that I can get an RSS feed of my blog to function in this way on the frontpage rather than having to manually update the list that I currently have there?

Yes. Use PHP to parse the RSS feed. It's not hard, and I know the code's out there on the net somewhere... I just don't know what it is.
