Emergency charger for 3G Touch?

You know the little emergency chargers you can get for mobile phones, that you can keep in your pocket or the car so that if you run out of juice and don't have a power point, you can plug it in and use AA batteries to get a charge?

Do they do one for the iPod Touch 3rd Gen?

Nope, I'm not the DIY type, just want To buy one.

The list above was some help, but it wasn't very specific as to whether the AA battery chargers are ok with the 3G touch....

While not powered via AA batteries, Richard Solo has some nice rechargeable options for the iPhone/iPod touch.

Yes it is. The chargers that list only the 2g were probably manufactured before the 3g came out, and their labels/product info just haven't been updated. But since there is really no hardware difference between the 2g and 3g aside from CPU and memory, all accessories that are listed as working with 2g should work with 3g.

I'd consider getting one or two of these if I were you. It is cheap and the reviews are good.

If you are looking for something more advanced, zagg.com has a charger they just came out with that can charge the iphone 4 times. Its $70 on sale right now.

That looks pretty good. Just ordered one of the Energizer ones from eBay, and if I have any problems I'll invest in one of the above, cheers...
 
I've got a Just Mobile Gum Pro, and it works great. It's a 4400mAh battery, while the RichardSolo is only 1200 or 1800mAh. 4400mAh is over 3 full charges for the iPhone, and for my iPod Touch 3rd gen, it can charge it from 20%-100% almost 6 times before the gum pro needs another charge. It is relatively small, and cheap too. Hope this helps :)
