Hello everyone! Today I just bought a MacBook Pro 15". My Windows Vista desktop computer uses a wireless router/cable box type thing to connect to the internet. My MacBook Pro recognizes my wireless network, but when I try to connect it asks for my WEP password. When my internet was set-up on my desktop I never set up a WEP password or anything. How do I connect?

First I will try getting in to router's admin page, which is something 192.168.0.1 or something since I don't know what router you are using. From there you can change your WEP setting. As for Vista I am not very sure how the wireless setup is like, maybe you can try connecting with WEP blank? Since you said you never setup one.

Anyway some router come with default WEP password which normally printed behind the router, go download a manual of your router, it should help.

Good luck.
