EMERGENCY/SIM not supported.....stuck

i just restored my 3gs to 3.1.3 and its stuck at the itunes screen saying sim not supported, and the phone says slide for emergency.....i just want the phone to be back to normal

Are you using an official sim ?

Did you choose set up as new when you restored ?

well it never asked me to set up new or anything, and no its not an official sim.......

That's your problem then. Unless you unlock, which you cannot do with 3.1.3, you cannot use an unofficial sim.

And when you restore there is ALWAYS a box that comes up: Restore to backup or Set up as new. Details are very important.

Also, how many threads you gonna start on this, I count four so far.

I know, you ruined your father-in-laws phone !
