Emoji Keyboard Issue on iOS 18.1 with iPhone 16 Pro Max

I recently updated my iPhone 16 Pro Max to iOS 18.1, and I've noticed empty spaces or blank spots in the emoji keyboard. Restarting the device hasn't helped. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a fix? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have the 16PM and have not seen that. I do have stickers enabled. And I think bigger is better, for me anyway.

Yeah I have the same issue. There are also multiple threads on Reddit about this topic. For now disabling stickers is the only option. It might have to do with stickers being broken for some. When I create a sticker nothing is added in the recents and therefore it is not visible in the recent emoji's, hence the empty slots.

Same don’t like this, takes longer to find the ones you want. Man these updates are one step forward, two steps back.

I’m having this issue as well and can’t figure out how to fix it. Hopefully an update might fix it someday? I tried clearing out the keyboard memory too and it did nothing so yeah.

iPhone 15 pro, iOS 18.1 .. I have stickers disabled in keyboard settings. Have rebooted.

The stickers are still there ONLY in the keyboard that pops up for entering text in a Mail/email body.

If I search for something in Mail, or enter an address in an email field, the no-sticker-keyboard pops up. I get the no-sticker-keyboard in every other app too. strange..
