iPad Pro Emoji via iMessage

Is there a way to use Emoji’s via iMessage, on an iPad?

In Settings \ General \ Keyboard, I DO have Emoji listed.
And, I removed it, and added it back. Still no Emoji when using iMessage

No, I never do Beta stuff...

Honestly, I feel so foolish.

I have been using the Apple keyboard case, with my iPad. With that, you will NOT see the option on the screen for using Emoji's. One has to press the button on the physical keyboard for it.

Ugh, sorry for wasting everyone's time...
