Has anyone tried any of the email emoticon apps such as "igeego" or "email emoticons"? Just wondered which one was better, and if you could send the email to the phone # of another iphone and have them show up in the sms of the other person's iphone.

Thanks. ;)

These look like they only work with email, probably by inserting an animated gif and so won't work with SMS. You can of course jail break and enable the iPhones in built emoji's which work fine in SMS and can be seen by other 2.2 users (even if they haven't jail broken).

I've seen a few, but I was one for texting that can be received by non-Iphone users as well. Any recommendations?

Emoji Mailer Converts the emoji to graphics for mailing to non-iphones or to PC/webmail email addresses.

For Texting, iPhone only supports two graphic emoji per text and these are sent as MMS not SMS.
